  சோதனையை வெல் ஒரு ஊரில் சலவை வேலை செய்யும் ஒருவர் இருந்தார். அவரிடம் ஒரு வயதான கழுதை இருந்தது. அது முதிர்ந்ததால் பொதி எடுத்துச் செல்ல சிரமப்பட்டு வந்தது. ஒருநாள், தொழிலாளி தன் கழுதையை அழைத்து சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தபோது, கழுதை வழியில் இருந்த பழைய கிணற்றுக்குள் விழுந்தது. எப்படியாவது அந்தக் கழுதையைத் தொலைக்க நினைத்திருந்த தொழிலாளி இது தான் நல்ல நேரம் என்று நினைத்தார். கிணற்றில் இருந்து மேலே தூக்காமல், கிணற்றை மண்ணால் மூடலாம் என்று அருகில் இருந்தவர்களை அழைத்தார். கழுதை அப்படியே புதைந்து போகட்டும் என்று எல்லோரும் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்ந்தனர். அவர்கள் மண்வெட்டி கொண்டு வந்து அருகிலிருந்த மண்ணை வெட்டி, அதை கிணற்றுக்குள் தள்ளினர். ஆரம்பத்தில் தன் மீது விழும் மண்ணைப் பார்த்து கழுதை பயந்தது. பிறகு அது பழகிக்கொண்டது.தனக்குச் சம்பவிக்கிற துன்பத்தை நினைத்து வருந்திக் கொண்டிருந்தால் எதுவும் நடக்காது என்று அது புரிந்தது. ஏதாவது செய்து அந்த நிலைமையிலிருந்து வெளியே வர வேண்டும் என்று அது எண்ணியது.தன் மீது விழும் மண்ணை உடம்பைச் சிலிர்த்து உதறியது. கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக அடி எடுத்து வைத்து வெளியே வர முயற்சித்தது. மேலே...

Scene 1:  A man saw a little boy looking at his fancy car with awe. Scene 2:  Knowing the boy's wish, he asked him to sit in the car, and took him around for some time. Scene 3:  What a wonderful car you have!What a great car you got! What was the total price?” asked the boy. Scene 4:  “What?” asked the man, “My brother gave it to me as a gift.” Scene 5:  “Oh! “He's really a nice guy,” said the boy. Scene 6:  “What you're thinking,” the man said, “I know.” Do you wish that you had a brother like mine?” Scene 7:  The boy replied, “No. I wish I could be like your brother.” Moral of the Story:  rather than hoping for things to be given to them, they should be self-confident and determined to work hard and get them for themselves.
