“The Ant That Never Gave Up – An Inspirational Moral Story About Self-Confidence”

                   The Undefeated Heart


Scene 1:
In a monastery there was a Zen monk and he was teaching his disciples.


Scene 2:
At that time, he wanted to instruct his disciples that, when difficulties are encountered, be sure to be confident and never give up. Therefore, he decided to present this lesson to them in the form of a short story.

Scene 3:
Therefore, he told his disciples a story about an ant.

Scene 4:
A little long piece of food was carried by an ant in its mouth.

Scene 5:
While on the walk along came a crack in the path. The ant had difficulty since it couldn't get across the crack.

Scene 6:
Eventually, the ant carried the food it had gathered across the crack, then walked over it and again across the crack, before picking up the food and going off on its journey, he said.

Scene 7:
Then, he said, "We also should use the hardships in our lives as a bridge and go forward.

Scene 8:
He continued, “If we have the same faith as that little ant then we can defeat any obstacle in our life and our problems will be removed.” Then he finished up the lesson for the day

Moral:
With self-confidence and determination, we can overcome any obstacle.
